PubConvert for Windows and Mac
The same engine as this website, on your own computer. Convert a whole archive of Publisher files in one go, and every file stays on your computer.
One-time purchase: $48.99 on Windows, $49.99 on Mac (US prices). Each store shows the price in your currency.
Why the desktop app
- Thousands of files at once The website takes up to 20 files and 2 GB per job. The app has no job caps, so a whole archive is one job instead of hundreds.
- Your files stay on your computer The app converts everything on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded.
- All four formats PDF, Word (.docx), IDML for InDesign or Affinity Publisher, and ODG for LibreOffice Draw. You don't need Publisher on your computer.
- Updates through the store When we fix something in the engine, the app gets the fix as a normal store update. New fixes reach the website first.
App or website?
If you have a few files, the website is enough: preview free, pay once, download. If you have a whole archive, or your files must stay on your own computer, use the app.
Try your files first
The app has no free preview. To see how your files come out before you buy, use the free preview on this website. It runs the same engine.
Good to know
- The app is a separate purchase from the website. Microsoft or Apple handles the payment.
- The Mac app uses the fonts installed on your Mac, including the fonts that come with Microsoft Office. If a font is missing, it tells you which font it replaced.
- The Mac app is in 16 languages. The Windows app is in English for now.
- If you bought on pubconvert.com before our Terms changed on 2 October 2026, your purchase includes the Windows app. Contact [email protected] to claim it.
